Counter-rotating Twin Screw Extruder
The TDY series compounder is specially made for reaction and devolatilization. Due to its working principle the relative line speed is low, so the material is processed under very low shear force with a fast exchange rate of material turn-over.

Low shear, fast surface renewal
USEON has long experience in reaction and devolatilization extrusion, and has developed special screw elements and barrels for the individual processing task.
- Low relative line speed: the material is processed under very low shear force.
- Fast exchange rate of material turn-over: the increased material surface area works with the vacuum system for a more ideal devolatilization performance.
- Positive displacement acts like a pump to force in loose recyclables such as films and fibers.

BOPET crushed film, recycled at 600–900 kg/h
BOPET crushed films of about 10 × 10 mm are prone to bridging at the feed throat, and polyester is susceptible to hydrolysis during melt extrusion.
