The third-generation XPS production line and our latest PET recycling technology, on two stands.
This year we had two stands: 7.1E83 in the main extrusion hall and 6.1L11 in the recycling hall.
Third-generation XPS production line, at 7.1E83. We optimized the profiles of the primary extruder, for better mixing and lower maintenance cost, and of the secondary screw. The new cooling screw renews material faster between the flight root and the flight tip. The blowing agent system now has a temperature control module that balances the difference between molten GPPS and room-temperature or cold blowing agents.
PET recycling, at 6.1L11. Our new underwater strand pelletizing system raises productivity significantly, while the integrated vacuum system keeps the IV drop as small as possible. Inline sheet and inline strapping make PET recycling more value-added.
