500 kg/h XPET Production Line Up and Running

A tailor-made 500 kg/h PET foam core material production line has been tested successfully.

This is a turn-key project that covers crystallization dryer, dehumidifier, twin screw plus single screw tandem foam extrusion system, blowing agent dosing system, temperature control system, calibrator, surface planner, cut-off, edge trimming, multi-layers lamination machine, splitting machine and recycling system.

Beside the complete set of equipment, the package includes knowhow transfer as well. We provide recipe management for different product categories and processing knowhow. We not only deliver machines, but transfer value.

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) foam products (XPET) are widely used as lightweight core stuff for composite materials. Inherited the natures of PET, it is thermoplastic and recyclable with high temperature endurability, excellent mechanical properties as well as extraordinary chemical resistance. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, it is almost impermeable.

XPET or PET foam core product is available in a wide range of density, thickness and size. It is almost compatible with all kinds of composite manufacturing methods.
